This study aims to describe and explain tourism development policies, namely the natural tourist attraction Batu Kuwung hot springs which is located about 32 km south of the city of Serang to be precise in Padarincang sub-district, Serang Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia. With good natural resource potential, including many mountains and very large river flows so that there are many natural tourist objects, therefore this research will discuss how the policy for developing natural tourism in Batu Kuwung hot springs as a regional tourist destination in Padarincang sub-district. district based on Regional Regulation of Serang Regency Number 8 of 2014? what are the constraints of the Serang district government in implementing tourism development policies? This study uses a qualitative descriptive method which originates from laws and regulations, books, law journals, and other library materials. The results of this study, that the Tourism Office of Serang Regency is tasked with developing tourism with the aim of increasing the welfare of the community towards natural tourism in the Padarincang sub-district which is good and in accordance with its duties and functions. regarding Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2014. However, in carrying out development policies there are several obstacles and these become obstacles for natural tourism in Padarancang to become superior and enchanting tourist destinations, so the tourism agency must improve its performance in developing natural tourist destinations, especially removing these obstacles.
