Bahasa Sunda Sebagai Identitas Budaya Mahasiswa Etnis Sunda di Universitas Serang Raya

Abstract

Communication among Sundanese ethnic students at Serang Raya University. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research method using data collection techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through filling out questionnaires by Sundanese ethnic students at Serang Raya University as many as 10 students, totaling three people. The conclusions of this study are: first, cultural identity helps people to understand culture and then be able to see and feel the culture of other people. Second, cultural identity can map the existence of differences between people so that everyone has boundaries and understanding of the actions to be taken. Third, cultural identity makes the process of adapting a person easier, where someone who has a different ethnicity from the ethnicity of most people, then cultural identity becomes a marker of the differences that are owned by each.
