Abstract

MSME play an important role in national development, especially development in the tourism sector. The reality on the ground shows that MSME business activities are often unable to compete with their competitors which are large-scale businesses, this is because large-scale businesses have a stronger position when viewed from various angles. In this regard, empowering MSME in the field of tourism business is a social thing to strive for. This study focuses its discussion on two things, namely how efforts to empower MSME in the field of tourism business and the current reality in the field, and the second is how tourism law functions within the framework of empowering MSME. In this scientific work, the method used is normative legal research with its data collection method, namely a literature study with a statutory and conceptual approach.
