Garbage in the sea, especially plastic waste, is currently a problem for every country, especially those with coastal areas and small islands like Indonesia. This problem becomes more complicated when the waste is on uninhabited islands due to the lack of resources and environmental carrying capacity on small islands. Like small islands and large islands in the city of Cilegon, Banten Province is a tourist attraction with a complete coastal ecosystem. Small Merak Island is one of the islands in the Indian Ocean. This island is on the west side of Java Island. This island is included in the Java Islands group. As a tourist object, there is a lot of waste from tourism activities, households, and those that are carried away by the current. There is quite a lot of trash on Pulau Kecil, and it is still not handled properly. This service activity aims to provide education about coastal and marine ecosystems, the dangers of plastic waste, and to carry out a clean beach and sea movement with residents and tourists on Small Island. The methods used are counseling and joint action to clean up trash. The result is that the garbage collection point on Pulau Kecil has been reduced a lot from the evaluation results and the community can sort waste.
